LockerBox locker dispenser
One compartment per item, an electrically controlled lock. The employee identifies with a badge or password and only the compartment they are entitled to opens. Closing it ends the transaction: the history keeps the person, the item and the time.
The manufacturer offers compartment accessories, including interior lighting; we choose the fittings to suit what is going to be kept in them. A return is an event just like an issue — you can see not only who took something, but also what is still out and since when.
When it makes sense
- equipment is expensive or scarce, so “I lent it to someone” costs money;
- devices have to come back charged;
- you work more than one shift and the storeroom is sometimes closed;
- you need proof of issue, not an entry in a notebook.
What it doesn’t do
The machine does not handle goods receipt and will not replace a storekeeper where a decision has to be made. For small items in large quantities, the DynaBox drum dispenser is a better fit.
